Most of the Soviet SAM systems had optical aiming capability. The SA-75M Dvina (SA-2F) (cheap export version for Vietnam and the Middle East) had a "Doghouse" cabin above its antenna, where two operator tried to track the target with telescopes. The more expensive WarPact systems, S-75M3 Volhov (SA-2E Guideline), S-125M1 Neva (SA-3B Goa), 2K11-M1 KRUG-M1 (SA-4B Ganef), 2K12M KUB (SA-6) had the "Karat" video camera, that could track a target from 100km in a clear day.
